After 12 weeks into this life long journey of healthier living, I am more aware of what my “why?” looks like. I am stronger and 36 pounds lighter.
For me, it was not so much the weight, though it has been in some aspect. More importantly, it was and is, a desire to be able to get out of a chair without struggling, go up a flight of stairs without stopping, and to address my fear of falling and being unable to get up on my own.
I now know so much about how what I choose to eat affects me as a whole.
I now have a support system, a team, encouraging and helping me to understand that I AM WORTH THE EFFORT to achieve my goals and set new ones.
I am no longer a spectator watching from afar, but an active participant in my health who is moving better and feeling better.
